Manali to Dhundi (Drive) & Trek to Bakarthach
Drive from Manali to Dhundi (8,530 ft) through Solang Valley. Begin the trek with a gradual ascent through birch and oak forest, crossing streams to reach the vast alpine pasture of Bakarthach (10,800 ft) — a traditional grazing ground with stunning mountain views. Overnight in tents.
Bakarthach to Beas Kund & Return
Early start for the summit day. Trek through boulder fields and snow patches to Beas Kund (12,772 ft) — a serene glacial lake surrounded by peaks. Spend time at the kund, then descend back to Bakarthach for the night.
Bakarthach to Dhundi & Drive to Manali
Leisurely descent from Bakarthach to Dhundi through meadows and forest. Drive back to Manali. Optional evening stroll on Mall Road or Old Manali.
Departure from Manali
Breakfast and checkout. Transfer to Volvo stand or Bhuntar airport as per your onward journey. Trek concludes.
